The acai berry is an astonishing nutritional discovery. The higher how many the ORAC scores the stronger the antioxidant properties of the substance being tested. The acai fruit has an extremely high ORAC score. Many of the products made with the acai fruit have retained this high ORAC capacity.
The acai fruit is also very high in healthy fats and amino acids. Nearly half of the edible part of the acai fruit is comprised of fat and 74% of that fat is from the extremely healthy unsaturated fats that are crucial to our health, Omega 3, Omega 6 and Omega 9. The acai berry also has 19 different amino acids, which are the building blocks of protein.
The acai fruit also contains an lavish amount of vitamins and plant sterols.
